Eid Ul Adha — the gift of Sacrifices encompassed with Pilgrimage

“Righteousness is in one who believes in Allah, the last day, angels, the book, and the prophets, and give wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, and the traveler” 2:177. 

A local boys’ orphanage in Denville, NJ which shelters 14 boys from ages 13-17.

Items Needed By November 17th:

Cookies, Saltine crackers, Juice-boxes, Candy, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Canned Corn, Canned Green Beans, Low Sugar Cereal, Bottled Water, Fruit Snacks, Non-Perishable Items

Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Shampoo, Soap Bars, Deodorant, Hair Conditioner, Toilet Paper, Lotion

AA Batteries, Tylenol, Advil, Paper Towels, Tissues, Hair Brushes/Combs, Band-Aids

Please bring these items to the Masjid and place them in the drop off box by the front desk.

The holy prophet peace be upon him, said, “I and the person who looks after and orphan will be in paradise together like this”, and he raised both his forefinger and middle finger together. (Sahih Bukhari).
